Who is this guy?
Hey America,
My name is Richard, and I want to be your president.
I'm a complete outsider to politics. For the past 20 years I've owned a business in Baltimore making and selling bronze sculptures and statuary for public art. I specialize in military and veteran monuments and memorials and have done over 700 across America. Prior to opening the art business I worked for an economic think tank at Towson University and a Financial consultant for Merrill Lynch. I worked my way through college as a bartender and security guard.
I'm a veteran from a big family of veterans. I served in the Navy and my only brother served in the Army. My Dad, several uncles, and my grandfather on my Mom's side were all veterans. I'm a life-member of the VFW. I bleed red, white, and blue.
I'm single, and many have been quick to point out that we have never had a single president before. That's true, but we have never had a Presidential wedding before either. I'm not announcing anything right now, but a Whitehouse wedding is definitely a possibility, and I can't think of anything more amazing! I have two sons Grayson 24 and Max 22.
I've been a political junkie since I was a little kid. When other kids were watching cartoons I was watching the Sunday political talk shows.

Why I'm running
I entered this race because politics in our country is seriously dysfunctional, and it's only getting worse.
I could care less if you're a democrat or a republican. I love America, and I love you, no matter who you are. If you're an American, then that's good enough for me.
If you're tired of hateful politics then you need to cast your vote for me. I hate to say this, but if you elect anyone else you're going to get more of the same. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of it.
I used to love politics and enjoyed debating the issues of our time. We used to be able to find common ground, or agree to disagree, but no hard feelings. Today politics is like a battlefield with swords and daggers thrown in every direction because we see those of different political persuasions as enemies, not as fellow Americans. As a result we all go to our corners and nothing is getting done. I want to change all that.

You should vote for me if you would prefer a middle of the road president who can and will talk to all sides when crafting policy proposals and legislation, and who doesn't engage in hateful rhetoric.
